The project is the redevelopment of an existing building in the historic district of Downtown Orrville into a new community center. The project is a non-profit community initiative with the J. M. Smucker Company and other local businesses. The state of the art community center contains a café, retail sales, tables and lounge with a fireplace, community room, meeting rooms and full catering kitchen. The facility is unique in that is open to the public every day for use as a café or hosting an event or meeting with a book club without the requirement to purchase anything. It is a community connection and information center designed to promote the community and educate the residences.
