Underwood Car Dealerships | AODK :: Architecture Office :: David Krebs

The Underwood Car Dealership project is a master plan and construction of two new car dealerships in Lodi Ohio. One is a 29,000 s.f. Chrysler dealership and the second is a 24,600 s.f. Chevy dealership. Each dealership consists of a new car show room, service bay and associated offices. Also included in the master plan is a carwash and body shop. The goal of this project was to create a new dealership with a new image at a major intersection on Interstate 71. The project was to be designed for maximum efficiency between the showrooms, service bays and body shop. The design called for clear lines of site form Interstate 71 as well as from in the show room. The solution of the building revolved around the large arched entrances leading to the two-story glass enclosed showroom.
