Wheaton & Sprague | AODK :: Architecture Office :: David Krebs

PROJECT::
The project is an 8,500 S.F. new build-out for Wheaton and Sprague Engineering located in the Hudson Drive Business Campus Flex Building. The design includes custom furniture designs, future expansion space provisions, and an approximately 90 day design and construction schedule.

GOAL::
To design a modern, welcoming office space to express the creativity and capabilities of a growing structural engineering firm. The space is required to help attract and retain talented staff as well as function as a show piece for prospective clients.

SOLUTION::
Install the new office space inside an existing flex building shell including exposing the existing structure to the space. Use a pallet of proprietary products in creative ways to generate an assembled industrial aesthetic. Organize the plan to maximize the amount of natural light entering the 100’-0” deep space.
