The project is the interior and exterior renovation of an existing group of 3 story buildings in the historic district of downtown Wooster. The goal is to create a mixed use project of residential and office with the street level as retail. The solution was to eliminate one of the buildings in the middle of the complex to create a 3 story interior atrium that allows for a majority of the spaces to look in to the open skylighted area. The exterior facades had been destroyed and covered in Stucco in the 1970’s These facades would be removed and renovated back into the historic fabric of the downtown.
