Harvest Ridge Assembly of God | AODK :: Architecture Office :: David Krebs

PROJECT::
A new 26,000 S.F. church facility to include a worship center, gallery space for fellowship, café, classrooms, offices, and multi-use space for children’s programs. The new facility is to be situated on a partially wooded site bounded by a county road and a major highway.

GOAL::
Provide a thriving and growing congregation with a new facility that supports their rapidly expanding programs and missions now and in the future. Make the building a tool for out-reach by taking advantage of the close proximity to a major highway.

SOLUTION::
A new facility with a cruciform corridor organization with the offices, worship center, and gallery to the West and the classrooms and family life center to the East. The outdoor patio leads to the exterior activity spaces which includes a basketball court connected to the parking lot, area for sand volleyball, a pavilion, and a playground. The 70,000+ s.f. master plan includes a 1,000 seat worship center, gymnasium, adult classrooms, a nursery wing, a children’s wing with a small worship center, and a teen center which includes classrooms, a worship center, and a café.
