St. Perigine Roman Catholic Church | AODK :: Architecture Office :: David Krebs

The project is a new church facility on 8.3 acres bordering the Cuyahoga Valley Recreational Parks. The goal is to develop a new church facility where traditional Roman Catholic masses are held in Latin. The solution includes a 250 seat nave and 100 seat choir loft in consideration to the functions of the Roman Catholic Church. A traditional plan effectively solves all design issues allowing for a narthex, library, 200 seat banquet hall, and apartment accommodations for 4 residing priests. The exterior will be designed to be consistent with a traditional Roman catholic church built at the turn of the century. The exterior materials will include stone with stained glass windows and a copper roof. The interior materials will include marble, stone, and solid wood trusses.
