The project is a new main entry and gathering space, fellowship hall and office addition to an existing 10,000 S.F. church building. Also included in the addition is a new sanctuary balcony stair connecting directly to the new gathering space, elevator and warming kitchen. The goal is to create a clear main entry and central gathering space to be used by the congregation for informal fellowship before and after services. The solution was to design the new main entry, situated close to the largest parking area on the site and opening directly into a new gathering space. The new fellowship hall, offices and kitchen are arranged along one side of the new gallery and widows providing views into and out of the gallery run along the side facing the main street. The new gallery also provides an elevator and new stair serving all levels of the existing building.
