The project is a new private residence on a rolling site surrounded by a wooded terrain. The goal is for the house to take advantage of the rolling terrain by framing out views, especially those to the back of the site. The solution was to build a two story house into the side of the terrain with a walkout basement. All of the major rooms of the house take advantage of those views. The main living floor includes a kitchen, hearth room, living room, dining room, craft room, and master bedroom. The second floor contains three bedrooms while the basement level contains an exercise room, bar, billiards, guestroom, and family room/game room. Custom wood trims and cabinetry were designed for the entire house.
