The Sherwin Williams Company | AODK :: Architecture Office :: David Krebs

The Sherwin Williams Company occupies 3 structures collectively called Landmark Office Towers, containing approximately 1.2 million s.f. of office space in downtown Cleveland. Since 1999, AODK has completed approximately 350,000 s.f of interior renovation projects from 1,000 s.f public corridor renovations to 10,000 s.f computer labs to 30,000 s.f. departments. Projects include space planning, lighting design, furniture design and selections, carpet, paint, and material finishes. The goal is to assist a large corporate client in the on-going renovation of a signature building complex in downtown Cleveland. The general approach to the spaces is to maximize the amount of light brought into the interior spaces of the building by moving a majority of the enclosed offices off the exterior wall & making the window public space. Aesthetically we have responded to the low floor to floor heights and small columns spacing of the old buildings by using the character of the building as a design feature, exposing the structure, providing indirect lighting and open furniture systems.
