AODK, Inc is an architectural design firm providing the full services of the architectural process. The process includes all phases from site selection, programming, Schematic design, Design development, furniture selection, interior finish selection, construction documents, permits/bidding, contractor selection and construction administration to the final owner acceptance. We have developed a team of experts in the areas of Sound engineering, acoustics and video to provide expertise in auditoriums, training rooms and sanctuaries.
AODK has fully accredited LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Staff to keep current with the latest environmentally safe and efficient products and systems. Green building is fast becoming the standard for construction in the United States.
All construction documents are completed using the latest technology in AutoCad. Additional programs include Photoshop, Illustrator, Accurender, Pan Viewer, PowerPoint, Viz , Word and associated office programs.
Within the architectural process areas, some of the individual areas of focus for AODK are in presentation and graphics. Both hand drawings and computer imaging are the techniques most commonly used. The hand drawings include pen and ink, watercolor, pencil, and marker images. The computer imaging includes full 3-dimensional architectural renderings with photorealistic material, lighting and textures. Computer video animation of the unbuilt project allows the client to take a virtual tour of the interior and exterior prior to construction. This aids in a better understanding of the project for the client, it is used as a design tool for the architect, it can be used for selling and leasing of a project prior to construction or used for a project like a church to get momentum and excitement for fund raising.
The images and movies can be formatted in PowerPoint presentations for board meetings, sales packages, etc. Images and design can be formatted into custom presentations, design boards and physical models can be built.
